We had such a fun time at the coast with the kids last week. My grandmother owns a beach house in one of the small beach towns that's kind of right in the middle of all the places we like to visit when we go to the coast and she is very sweet about letting us use it when we want too. It certainly eliminates the cost of having to pay a hotel to stay there.

We do a pretty good job of just enjoying what the beach life has to offer and not going crazy with our spending when were down there. Josh and I don't really buy much when we're down there. We like to save our money for the few special meals we have out.

We did most of our cooking at the beach house and only ate out a few times. We practically packed our entire kitchen and brought it to my grandmothers house so we would have options. But I wanted to share a few pictures of the trip with you :) Most of the pictures shown were shot with our iPhones :)

It was a great trip and I wish we could go back right now, haha, but we made some beautiful memories and ate some good food. Now, I'm currently in Birthday Planning mode for Eden's 3rd birthday this Saturday. She wants Cupcakes so I'm on the search for some good cupcake recipes. Any ideas people :)

I love Cannon Beach - we head there every chance we get. There are so many tasty restaurants, great shops & galleries, and the views are amazing too.
