TodayI’m sharing a recipe from one of my cooking classes for homemade marionberry freezer jam over at Evermine’s Blog. This recipe is so easy, it will blow your socks off and you can switch out whatever berry you like. I happened to have a crazy stash of marionberries in my freezer.
If you haven’t ever checked out the website Evermine then you should. This site allows you to make personalized labels, tags, invitations, and countless other things that you can personalize. Since I had made a few jars of jam to share with some of my family and friends, I made cute little tags and labels to to place on the lids and tie around the jar. I love how everything looks organized and professional.
Evermine has a blog (which I’ll be contributing to once and awhile) where you can get get fun ideas on how to use some of their products. I especially am loving this site, because I don’t own any of those fancy cricut machines where you can make labels and such, so this is an easy and really affordable way to get creative.

Homemade Marionberry Freezer Jam

- 6 TB instant Clear Gel (1 TB per cup of berries - available through King Arthur Flour)
- 1 TB pure lemon juice
Instructions
- Place berries in a large bowl or pot and mash away with a potato masher.
- Mix sugar and clear gel together.
- Add sugar mix to berries and lemon juice…stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar has dissolved
- Let sit for about 15 minutes.
- Take 1-2 cups (depending on the mason jar you use) and scoop into the jars, seal and freeze.

This jam looks perfect! I have always wanted to make jam, but have been too scared that I would burn it (which is what my mom always did). I definitely think I should try again!
