Happy Monday, everyone! Is it just me, or did the weekend go by way too fast? It always does, it seems. But next week, however, should be a bit longer weekend for ALL of you with Monday being the 4th of July! I love the 4th, but I always seem to get eaten alive by all the mosquitos. I need to remember to bring a second change of clothes that includes jeans, long sleeves, and socks. (Don't) remind me to tell you about the year that I got ten bites on the top of one of my feet. It itched, it was red, it looked like I had some sort of foot disease...

How did you all enjoy our new DIY post from Saturday? Since the fall, we've been dabbling in home improvement projects - we're trying to make our home cozier, more inviting, and more interesting, too! We Josh started with a gate last summer to close off the rv parking so the kids could play, and then we moved onto this farmhouse dining table. We've done several more things we are looking forward to sharing with you, one of which we're still in the process of working on. In fact, we bought six chairs over the weekend for that project!
We have family coming into town on Friday, so this will be our last weekly menu for a few weeks. But we should be back in the middle of July with another menu. We'll still have Tuesday's Tidings and recipes to share, but just so everyone knows, we will be taking a week off from blogging probably toward the end of the month. But that is still several weeks away so, today, we've got the menu!
