Tuesday's Tidings

As you guys all know, Josh and I bought a house and we've been taking all of last week and this week to paint, move, clean, and move the remaining loose items at our old home and clean it too. I've been snapping pictures here and there so I thought I would share.

Moving Day! We ended up hiring movers which was definitely the way to go this time around. It just made things get done faster and they did an awesome job.

2. IMG_7854 (1) While we moved, Christian and Eden spent the afternoon at their grandparent's house and got completely worn out.

3. IMG_7858

Priming. While we moved on Friday, my father in love and my brother in love, stayed at the house and primed two dark rooms.

More priming!

There were so many boxes in this kitchen at one point. I kind of stood there for about 10 minutes just looking at all of it and trying not to cry. So many high cupboards and drawers that I was not used to, because my old kitchen hardly had any storage and this one has so much I was kind of at a loss as to where to put everything. I did figure it out and everything is unpacked...except one box and some grocery bags full of stuff that I have hiding in the pantry.

The first two nights, we got our old bed setup in the downstairs guest bedroom. Yes, we have a guest bedroom and it has a bathroom too! So, come on over and stay with us. We've got space!

The painting crew, minus Josh's dad. Joey painted all day Friday and all day Saturday and had the most wonderful attitude going through. Jeff (in the middle), brought us lunch on Saturday after he worked and stayed all day Saturday to help us finish up the painting. We could not of done it without these guys. Family is awesome!

8. IMG_7862

I talked Josh into buying a King size bed for our master suite and we picked out a set from Ikea. The Ikea directions are not the easiest to follow as there are no words and only pictures, but we got it figured out.

Meal ministry at it's finest. My sweet sister in love brought us a yummy dinner that fed us for two whole nights which was awesome and so good.

We finally got the bed put together along with the nightstands (not pictured). Josh is currently working on the dresser. And did you know that King size bedding means pillowcases are longer too? Makes sense I guess because the bed is wider, but now I need to find King size pillows.

So there it is. A taste of what is going on. There is more, but these are all the pictures I have for the moment.
