How was everyone's weekend? I hate that the weekends go by so fast. But the good news is, the rain held off till late Sunday night. It was pretty chilly, but we got a lot accomplished even though Josh worked on Saturday. Our lawn is finally mowed and no longer looking like a jungle and I did some weeding in the front yard. But the biggest and bestest thing that happened this weekend was that my girls got a Swing Set. I've been keeping my eye out on Craigslist for awhile ( because buying brand new is just to much money) and I came across one Saturday afternoon. A beautiful, gently used Swing set with 2 swings, a glider, and slide! My girls were thrilled!!! Eden is now calling it her playground, lol.

Excuse the theatrics of the picture. I took it with my cell phone and I love to play with the different editing features.
So, how about all of you, how was your weekend. Get anything fun done?
Monday

My mom's lasagna, oven roasted asparagus, and garlic bread.
Tuesday
Pizza...keeping it simple
Wednesday
Taco Soup with Cheese Quesadillas for dunking
Thursday
(Awana & Grand Prix Night)
Something easy Chicken nuggets and maybe sandwiches for us. Josh is in charge of all the techy stuff and Grace is racing her car.
Friday
Peanut Sauce Chicken, with rice and fruit salad
Saturday
Depending on the weather, we may grill. But if the weather isn't warm enough, we'll make sandwiches.
Sunday
Grace has been craving Pancakes lately, so I'm to have us make those. Not sure I'm thinking about
Pancakes with Apples and Maple Butter
I think I might keep it a bit simple this week when it comes to desserts, and baked goods. I'm going to try out a new cookie recipe for Josh and maybe make some scones or muffins for the girls. Not entirely sure yet.
Desserts/Treats

I gave Josh 3 different cookie options this week that I would make for him.
He chose, Reese's Chewy Chocolate Cookies.
And Scones or Muffins for the girls. Not sure....
How is your week of cooking shaping up?
