I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's Day. But today is another momentous occasion. TODAY is my daughter Gracie's eleventh (What? Why?) birthday, and I'm a bit in shock that she is truly that old.
I still remember holding my little eight pound blessing in my arms and crying over her out of sheer happiness. Today, she is my faithful companion and righthand girl. I would be lost without her and the joy and pride she brings me...well, I could keep on going.
In honor of today being Grace's birthday, I'm starting the menu off with her favorite dinner...
