Happy Cyber Monday and week after Thanksgiving and official kick off to the Christmas season! I hope you all had a wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving Day with family and friends. I hope you were able to score some Black Friday deals and I hope that today’s sales are fruitful for you if that’s your jam.
I personally have no idea what I’m shopping for, so there’s that! 😆
We’re officially in the Christmas month (which for me starts as soon as Thanksgiving is over, not on December 1…) and get ready because we’re going to be sharing holiday recipes all month long. Some of my favorite winter recipes will be showing up in this week’s menu…and I’m excited because I’ve been waiting to cook them!
Here’s what’s cooking this week:
Mini Turkey Pot Pies
These mini pot pies hit all the right notes - they use up Thanksgiving leftovers, they're super cute, they stay hot forever...and they're seriously yummy.
Simple Winter Cassoulet
Healthy, easy, and comforting, this simple winter cassoulet is a classic dish from the south of France easily adapted to dairy or gluten-free diets!
Ham and Cheese Quiche with Fresh Spinach
Once you try this classic ham and cheese quiche version of this tasty breakfast pie, you’ll want to make a different one for every morning of the week!
Beef Stew with Cheddar Herbed Biscuits
This recipe for beef stew with cheddar herbed biscuits has become our family's ultimate winter comfort food!
Carbonara Pizza
This carbonara pizza recipe is easy, quick, and inexpensive, with some strategic substitutions! Eggs, cheese, and bacon - how can you go wrong?
Mashed Potatoes
These rustic mashed potatoes are super easy to put together, but have a creaminess and richness to them that makes them surprisingly craveable for such a staple side dish!
Eggnog Fudge
What are two of the best things about Christmas? Eggnog and fudge, of course! Combine them in this easy, yummy recipe for eggnog fudge!
Cranberry Orange Croissant French Toast
This baked cranberry orange croissant French toast is one of those dishes that comes out gourmet-looking and sophisticated, but is actually absurdly simple!
If you’re like me and you are already in the Christmas/holiday spirit, check out my Christmas goodies Pinterest board. I’m constantly adding to it and it just looks so yum! I could eat everything on that board, I swear!
Have a great week everyone!!
